Terms of service

Last updated 14 October 2026

The agreement between Tablewick and the restaurants and cafes that use it.

1. This agreement

These terms are an agreement between Wemark Tech Pty Ltd (ABN 33 702 092 966), trading as Tablewick ("we", "us"), and the business that signs up for a Tablewick account ("you", the venue). By creating an account or using Tablewick you accept these terms on behalf of your business.

Our privacy policy and refund policy form part of these terms.

2. What Tablewick provides

Tablewick is software for taking and managing table bookings. Depending on your plan it includes:

  • a hosted booking page and a widget for your website
  • a dashboard for bookings, tables, the waitlist and guests
  • booking emails and, where you turn them on, text messages
  • card holds and no-show fees through your own Stripe account
  • guest marketing, feedback requests and reports

We may improve, change or remove features over time. If we remove a feature you pay for, we will tell you at least 30 days before.

3. Your account and users

  • You must give accurate business details and keep them up to date.
  • You are responsible for everyone you invite to your account and what they do in it. Keep logins private and remove people who leave.
  • Each plan includes one user. Every extra user on a paid plan costs $11 a month and is added to your bill when they join. The free plan is for one user.
  • You must be at least 18 and able to bind your business to these terms.

4. Plans, prices and billing

  • Current prices: Free $0, Starter $49 a month, Pro $89 a month, Group $69 a venue a month for three or more venues. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. We send a tax invoice for every payment.
  • The free plan takes up to 30 online bookings a month. Each plan has monthly limits on included texts and marketing emails. We email you as you approach a limit. Booking confirmations and reminders by email are never limited.
  • Texts beyond your plan's allowance use prepaid SMS credits. Credits do not expire while your account is open.
  • When you upgrade, the new price applies straight away and Stripe charges the difference for the rest of the month. When you downgrade or cancel, the change applies from your next billing date.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing date after that.
  • If a payment fails we will try again and email you. If it is still unpaid after 14 days we may move your account to the free plan.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel any time from Billing in your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then moves to the free plan. There are no lock-in contracts or exit fees. To close your account completely, use Danger zone in Settings or email hello@tablewick.com.au.

6. Your responsibilities to your guests

Your guests book with you, not with us. You are responsible for:

  • your booking terms, cancellation policy, deposits and no-show fees, and making them clear to guests before they book
  • handling guests' personal information lawfully, including under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, as set out in our privacy policy
  • only sending marketing to guests who agreed to receive it, under the Spam Act 2003. If you import a guest list and confirm consent, you must hold that consent
  • honouring bookings you confirm, and dealing with guest complaints, refunds and chargebacks about your venue
  • charging no-show fees fairly and in line with Australian Consumer Law

7. Card holds and no-show fees

Card holds and no-show fees run through your own Stripe account, connected to Tablewick. Stripe's terms apply to those payments and Stripe's fees come out of them. We never receive or hold your guests' money, and we do not store card numbers. You are responsible for any refund or dispute about a fee you charge.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use Tablewick to:

  • send spam, or messages to people who have not agreed to receive them
  • break any law, or infringe anyone's rights
  • upload malware, probe or overload the service, or try to reach other venues' data
  • resell or copy the software, or build a competing product from it

We may suspend sending, or your account, to stop a breach or protect guests, other venues or the service. We will tell you why unless the law stops us.

9. Your data

  • Your bookings, guest list and content belong to you. We use them only to run Tablewick for you, as set out in our privacy policy.
  • You can export your guests and bookings as CSV at any time.
  • If you close your account we delete your venue's data within 90 days, except records we must keep by law, such as tax invoices.
  • Tablewick staff can access your account to give support, including signing in as a user. Every access is logged.

10. Availability and support

We work to keep Tablewick running at all times, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or error free. We may take it down briefly for maintenance, usually outside service hours. Support is by email at hello@tablewick.com.au. Texts and emails rely on outside carriers, so we cannot guarantee every message is delivered.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where the law lets us limit our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost revenue from a missed booking, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. You are responsible for loss caused by your breach of these terms or your dealings with your guests.

12. Ending this agreement

You can end this agreement by closing your account. We can end it with 30 days' notice, or straight away if you seriously breach these terms or do not pay. When it ends you can still export your data for 30 days.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will email you at least 30 days before a change that affects you materially. Using Tablewick after that date means you accept it.

14. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia. Each party submits to the courts of South Australia. Questions or complaints: hello@tablewick.com.au, or Wemark Tech Pty Ltd, 3/392 Main North Road, Blair Athol SA 5084.
